Alberta B. LaRiviere age 87, passed away on March 14, 2015 in Scottsdale Arizona. Alberta was born November 17, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Cora Johnson. She was raised and attended schools in Flint Michigan, and later attended Mott Community College after which she began working as an Administrative Assistant with General Motors for over 25 years. Alberta moved to Arizona in 1986 and settled in Wickenburg where she made many friends over the years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Wickenburg Country Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, volunteering at the Desert Caballeros Museum, and did volunteer work for Las Senora's Wickenburg Home Tour. Alberta was preceded in death by her sister Viola Conn, brother Earl Johnson, Sister Norma Strudgeon, Husbands Lynn Serven and Rodolphe LaRiviere. She is survived by her son Kerry (Paula) Serven , Daughter Deborah Chema both of Scottsdale Arizona, Brother Edward (Louise) Johnson of Springdale, Ark., Sister in law Shirley Johnson of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Granddaughter Stephanie Craddock of Vassar, Michigan, Granddaughter Justine (Randal) Isaacson of Scottsdale, Arizona, Great Grandchildren Albi Firman of Buffalo, New York, Mallory Isaacson and Cole Isaacson of Scottsdale, Arizona and Great Great Grandson Malis Firman of Buffalo, New York. Several Nieces and Nephews and longtime companion Coleman Woods. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg. The family suggest any memorial contributions in Alberta's memory be made to Hospice of the Valley, First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg and the Humane Society of Wickenburg.
