Allan Dawe Douglas, Jr. age 88, passed away June 7, 2014 at his home in Wickenburg. He was born July 15, 1925 in Long Beach, California. He attended schools there and served in the U. S. Coast Guard from 1942 to 1946. He worked as an electrician in the commercial electric industry. He later operated a charter boat service on his boat the Black Douglas' in the Sea Of Cortez out of La Paz, Mexico for 20 years. He found joy in everything he did; he loved the ocean, archeology, sunsets, cooking, and wood working and couldn't resist taking photos of it all. Allan possessed a sweet, loving disposition and always woke up happy. He will be greatly missed. He moved to Wickenburg in 1993 with spouse Kathryn Hogan Douglas. He is the son of Allan Dawe Douglas, Sr and Minnie Kronenberg Douglas; and is survived by a brother Robert William Douglas of Boulder City, Nevada; daughter Carol Douglas Blowers of Rogue River, Oregon; daughter Marsha Douglas Camrud of Farmington, New Mexico. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Wickenburg Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wickenburg with interment and military honors following at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 2:00 PM
