Alma L. Johnson, age 90, passed away November 28, 2010 in Surprise, Arizona. She was born and raised in Nekoosa, Wisconsin to Ray Lowell and Hattie Miller Lowell. She attended schools in Nekoosa and later married Lewis Johnson. They made their home in Hancock, Wisconsin and lived there the majority of their lives. She was primarily a homemaker and was a member of the local Presbyterian Church in Nekoosa as well as participated in a bowling league. Her husband Lewis passed away in 1988 and she moved to Wickenburg, Arizona in 1991. Alma had lived in the Hassayampa Village Apartments for some 16 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis in 1988 and a son Wayne in 2000 as well as a grandson David Johnson in 1999. She is survived by her daughter in law Gloria Johnson of Wickenburg, sister in law Margaret Prust of Marshfield, Wisconsin, grandchildren: Dean Johnson (Candy) of Pinetop, Arizona and Chris Johnson (Rene) of Wickenburg and Tami Lee (Randy) of Wickenburg, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Wickenburg Funeral Home with interment in Nekoosa, Wisconsin.
