Amy Bell

Amy Hopper Bell passed away Saturday November 16, 2013 in Phoenix, Az. Her passing was unexpected after a minor procedure at a Phoenix Hospital. She was born in Bedford Indiana July 7, 1947. She resided in Indiana until she was 14 when her family moved to Az. She attended grade school in Morristown, Az. and high school in Wickenburg. Amy moved to Payson, Az. in 1980 where she resided till her death. Amy was a creative, artistic individual. She created oil paintings, jewelry, ceramics and many other creative arts. She was a marvelous cook and loved to entertain her family and friends with delicious meals. Candy making was a specialty and a favorite for everyone at Christmas time! Amy operated her own cleaning business in Payson for the last several years. Amy was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Mary Hopper. She is survived by her partner and best friend of 18 years Jeff Smith, children Daniel Lee (Cherri) of Litchfield Park, Heidi Lee of Scottsdale, Az.. Siblings Steve Hopper, Jerry Hopper, and Becky Watson, grandchildren , Daniel Lee, Matthew Lee, and Stephen Lee, Alana Lee, Brett Becker, Boe Scarbrough and one great grandchild Skilee Becker. Six nieces and nephews and many many friends. A celebration of Amy's life was held Saturday November 23, 2013 in Payson. Az.
