Anna Marie (Schrock) Jacobsen was born to Daniel B. and Kathryn P. (Johannsen) Schrock on November 28, 1939 in Geneva, Nebraska and she passed away from cancer on September 30, 2013 at her home in Peeple's Valley, Arizona, surrounded by family at the age of 73 years, 10 months, and 2 days. Anna attended Geneva High School for three years before moving to Shickley and graduating from Shickley High School with the class of 1957. After graduation, she worked in banks in Colorado and California. In later years, she worked for the Nebraska Department of Revenue. Anna was preceded in death by her parents Daniel & Kathryn; brothers & sisters Donald, Benjamin, Virgil, Joy, Ira, Lorene and Kathryn; and step grandchildren Rita, Autumn and Jake. Anna is survived by husband Marvin Jacobsen; daughter Marci Neeld; step children Michael, Robert, Jesse, Susan, Barbara, and Jacqueline; sister & brother-in-law Donna & Albert Jacobsen; brothers & sisters-in-law Daniel & J'Nevlyne Schrock, Allen & Pat Headrick; and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services for Anna were held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shickley Public Cemetery. Pastor Tim Kemnitz officiated the service. The recorded selections "Rock Of Ages" and "Amazing Grace" were played at the service. Pallbearers included Bruce Jacobsen, Mark Jacobsen, Daniel D. Schrock, Jr., Myron "Scooter" Borth, Wyatt Cooper, and Dillon Cooper. Memorials are directed to the Capitol Human Society in Lincoln or the American Cancer Society.
