Barry Bays

Barry Franklin Bays was born on July 21, 1946 in Pliny, Mason, West Virginia and died on July 19, 2010 in Wickenburg, AZ of prostate cancer. He is the son of William Elza Bays and Loretta Anna Milton. Barry graduated from Peoria High School and married Kathleen Dawn Goddard in 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona and divorced shortly after. Barry and Kathy had one daughter Bridgett Ann. In 1968 Barry married Dora Davis of Wickenburg, Az. Barry and Dora had two sons, Daryl Franklin and Mark William. Barry began working at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. Barry also worked for Blakeley's Auto and later Joe's Transmission in Wickenburg. Eventually Barry and Dora started B&D Rentals and Welding Supplies in Wickenburg, AZ. Barry and Dora divorced after 15 years. Barry married Marilyn Sicz in 1983 and they established B&D Rentals and Welding Supplies and retired after 25 years in 2008. Barry and Marilyn divorced in 2009. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, boating and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his good friends and was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. When Barry wasn't doing what he loved he was hanging around outside finding odd things to do to keep him busy. Barry was always on the go and he always had time for his friends. Barry also enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. During the last few years Barry had dedicated his life to the Lord and had been attending First Southern Baptist Church. Barry is survived by his Mother Loretta Rendel of Phoenix, AZ, Children: Bridgett Cisco of Phoenix, AZ, Daryl (Leah) Bays and Mark Bays of CA Also his Brother Ralph (Diana) Bays of Indiana, Sisters Debbie (Keith) Baker of Mesa, AZ and Cindy (Rodney) Miller of Florida. Barry also leaves behind Marilyn Bays of Wickenburg, AZ, Wayne (Kim) Sicz of Polson, MO, Shane Sicz of WA, and Tammy Sicz of Wickenburg, AZ Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 31st at 10:00 AM at First Southern Baptist Church with a reception following both at the Church and The Elks Lodge at 122 N. Frontier St. in Wickenburg, AZ
