Beatrice "Bea" DeLoria of Wickenburg, AZ, formerly of Newcomb, NY, died peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2010. She was 83. Born Beatrice Irene Gale on February 10, 1927 in Tupper Lake, NY, she was a daughter of Edna V. (Mere) and Lester B. Gale of that village. She attended local schools, and later married Donald A. DeLoria. They made their home first in Tahawus, N.Y., and later in Newcomb, N.Y. In August 1994 they moved to Wickenburg, AZ. In addition to raising her family, Bea was an avid sports woman and enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing she was also an avid NY Mets baseball fan. Bea is survived by four sons: Shane, of Westminster, CO, Cris of Wickenburg, AZ, Robin of Newcomb, NY; and Kyle of Wickenburg, AZ; two step-sons, Edward, of Apopka, FL. and Marvin, of Rochester, N.Y., 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Eva E. Bellows, of Tupper Lake, NY, as well as eight nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Donald A. DeLoria she was predeceased by two sisters, Ellen Boyer and Edith (DeShaw) Leonard, both of Tupper Lake, N.Y.
