Bette Watson

Bette M Watson was born on April 5, 1937 in Colorado. She went to join her family and friends in heaven on 08/14/2024.

Bette was raised on the family farm in Rush Colorado and worked hard in the fields as a child. It was the source of many great memories. She was the oldest of 4 children.

Bette married Stan Watson on September 23, 1954 and raised 2 daughters. They moved to Wickenburg in December 1969.

Bette worked for numerous companies and enjoyed what each one gave her. Her favorite title was the Welcome Wagon Lady. Where she greeted all the new residents of Wickenburg with her wealth of knowledge about this great community and made sure they knew what services were available to them here.

Bette was a busy volunteer with the Chamber of Commerce, PTA, 4-H, Lioness Club and anywhere else she could help.

Bette was preceded in death by her parents Bill & Effie Rapp, Husband Stan Watson, sister & brother in law Barbara & Robert Payne, brother Billy Rapp and Nephew Joe Bevans.

She leaves behind daughters Connie (Randy) Lenski and Karen (John) Wittman.

Grand children Barrett (Tara) Littell, John (Dawn) Wittman Jr. Jared Wittman, Kiel Littell, Liz Wittman, Michelle Rogers, Kirk (Heather) Lenski.

Here greatest joy was her 12 Great Grand Children.

Arrangements are being handled by Wickenburg Funeral home. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
