Betty Egbert

Betty Lee Egbert, age 84, passed away March 8, 2015 in Surprise, Arizona. Betty was born December 2, 1030 in Garber, Oklahoma. She was raised in Garber and attended schools there and later graduated from high school in Cleveland. She married Richard C. Egbert in 1953 while he was serving in the military and she and Richard lived in various locations while he served. She was primarily a homemaker and mother. Richard retired from the military and later passed away in 1979. Betty came to Arizona in 1991 settling in Wickenburg. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful flowers. She loved bird watching and enjoyed feeding the birds at her home. Betty is survived by her children: Fay (Barney) Woods of Wickenburg, Roger (Lisa) Vaughn of Marmac, Oklahoma, Michael (Janie) Egbert of Stillwater, Oklahoma, grandchildren Richard Lee Harlin and Crystal Woods and a great-grandchildren: Shayla and Colby Creig and a great-great-granddaughter.
