Billie Clifford Knisley, age 85, went to the Lord on August 22, 2021, peacefully . Bill was born October 19, 1935 in Lenapah Oklahoma. Bill is survived by his loving wife Suzan Lynn Knisley, Wickenburg Arizona and his sister Ruby Ulseth of Pasco Washington. Bill had 5 children, his oldest son Kirk, who passed away, and is survived by Mark, Bruce, Dale and Karin. Bill had 16 grandchildren that he dearly loved and was very close to and also 14 great grandchildren plus three on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Knisley, who was born in Oklahoma Territory and Cozetta Retha Knisley as well as his 6 siblings and his previous wife Mary Lynn Knisley. As a young boy Bill moved with his family during the great depression to Shafter, California, where the Grapes of Wrath was based and then Buckeye, Arizona where his father was a cowboy on the Tobey Ranch. He later moved with his family to Sunnyside ,Washington where they became asparagus farmers and where he graduated from High School. Bill served 4 years in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Korea as an electronics technician. He was always very proud to serve his Country and be an Air Force Veteran. Bill graduated from the College of Electronics Engineering, San Diego, with a Degree of Associate in Science in 1961. Bill continued to live in San Diego where he Married Marylynn. While living in San Diego he worked for General Dynamics and Stromberg-Carlson. He later moved to Northern California where Bill and his two brothers Glen and Floyd founded Knisley Welding Inc, in 1976. The corporation, located in Loomis, California, serves the aviation community worldwide repairing and manufacturing Aircraft exhaust systems for all major small aircrafts. Bill met his wife Suzy Lynn Knisley in Loomis where they helped raise their many grandchildren. He retired with his wife Suzy Lynn in 2015 and moved to Wickenburg, Arizona, where they traveled many miles of trails on their quads with family and friends. A Private Baptist Service will be held for family and close friends at Miller Funeral Home, Folsom, California, September 6, 2021.
