Bruce Danforth Yenerich
March 14, 1942 - February 19, 2025
A resident of Wickenburg for almost 50 years, Bruce Yenerich was a man who was committed to serving his community, church, and family. He was well loved by all and did not know a stranger.
Bruce was born in Illinois on March 14, 1942. He moved to Wickenburg in 1976 to work for Valley National Bank. He was employed by Valley National Bank/Bank One and Bank of America for over 40 years. He served his community at Kiwanis, Calvary Baptist Church, and Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce. After retirement, Bruce volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for 10 years and served on his neighborhood HOA. Bruce was passionate about genealogy and was a member of Sons of the American Revolution and Founders and Patriots of America.
Bruce was member of Calvary Baptist church for 48 years and served as a Trustee, Youth Leader, and Treasurer. He served as the head of the missions team and was a self-appointed greeter for many years. He loved to greet both newcomers as well as regular attenders. He enjoyed his daily outings to the Post Office where he would talk to all his fellow residents. His friendliness and heart for service came from his love of his Savior, Jesus.
Bruce and Kay celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary with all of their family this past summer. Bruce dearly loved his family and friends and always loved when he was surrounded by them. Bruce is survived by his wife, Kay Yenerich; sister Joan Evans (David); his daughters, Amy Schorey (Jeff), Joy Wright (Tim); son Jay Yenerich (Jennifer), ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
