Buck Titus

March 11, 1933 — January 31, 2010

LeRoy "Buck" Titus was born March 11, 1933 in Central Lake, Michigan to Jack Titus and Agnes Frame Titus. He enlisted in the Marine Corps. following his military service he returned to Michigan. Buck began working as a tool & dye maker. He always had a love for music and he was the lead singer in a band for years. He had the opportunity to play for various artists as a backup guitarist and singer in 1955 he recorded a #1 hit record "Tomorrow" Buck also had the opportunity to play at the Grand Ole Opry. He came to Arizona in 1955 and ranched for a time. He enjoyed working with horses and the outdoors. He was a member of the American Legion Post 79 in Yarnell. Buck is survived by his companion Elizabeth George of Peeples Valley, Daughter Lori Peterson of Aguila,Arizona. brother Bill Titus of Traverse City, Michigan, 3 sisters Marian Rumble of Orange, CA, Dorothy Minch of Garden City, Michigan, Gloria Titus of Belleville, Michigan. Grandson James Edward Stewart of Garden City, Michigan and 2 great-grandchildren Julia & Dillon Stewart. Memorial Services will be held on February 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Post 79 in Yarnell.
