Carl D. Campbell was born January , 1940, to Jonathan and Verna Campbell in Kansas City, Missouri. At the age of 10, his family moved to the west coast and settled in California. Carl graduated from USC with a Bachelor's Degree. Carl married Roxie Swanner on May 29, 1968. After college, he began working for Garrett AiResearch as a draftsman. The company was later acquired by Honeywell. In 1984, Carl was transferred to Florida, where he managed Garrett Hydraulics in Ft. Lauderdale. He came to Arizona in 1991 to work in the Tempe facility until his retirement in 1998. Carl was an avid member and past president of the Wickenburg Sportsman's Club. He loved and enjoyed the outdoors. His hobbies were target shooting and creating works in pottery, stone sculpting, and woodworking. Carl will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Carl is survived by his wife, Roxie, of Wickenburg, daughter, Eileen Unfried, of Oak Park, CA, and his dear Sister-in-Law, Georgia Gonsalves, of Cedar Valley, CA.
