Carl Lawrence

Carl T. "Chip" Lawrence, 66 of Congress, Arizona went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2012 after a brave battle with cancer. Chip was born January 13, 1946 in New York, New York. He is the only child of Paul David Lawrence & Betty Ida (VonSoosten) Rockefeller. Chip grew up in New York. He loved watching old Western Movies. As a young man he moved to the west to pursue his passion of being a rancher and cowboy. He lived in Utah, Wyoming, Kentucky, Oregon and Nevada. Chip eventually settled in Arizona. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving our country with distinction. Chip was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart, always helping others. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his daughter Misty (Xavier) Wolf, son Michael (Janet) Roberts, daughter Carla (Steve) Roberts, and son Paul Lawrence, 9 grand-children, and 2 great-grandchildren.
