Dennis Leroy Butterfield



Age 83, husband for 63 years, father, brother, uncle passed out of this world Wednesday morning in Glendale Az. Generous, kind, honest and a friend to all. He was a talented craftsman could build a house, a boat, a car or a computer and always said he could fix everything but a broken heart.



A resident of Arizona since 1968 he was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and grew up in California. As an adult he built houses, flat bottom boats and classic cars



Dennis played basketball in high school, enjoyed boating, water skiing, fishing and camping . He loved pets cared for every one his family brought home, and he was usually their favorite human. Although housebound for the past 10 years due to COPD he found many activities to stay busy. Researching his family on Ancestry listening to all kinds of music, playing chess online, reading the news online at 5AM each morning.. He enjoyed staying in in touch with family by e mail and pictures watching the little ones grow up.



He stayed up to date with current technology, rebuilt many computers to see how they worked as he was a curious soul to the end. He was homebound but not alone and never never complained about his condition.
