Dennis Sims

In memory of Dennis William Sims August 1, 1939 - February 29, 2024

A life well lived. Born in Davenport WA and passed away suddenly in Phoenix AZ after declining health.

Dennis was a beloved husband, father, and precious grandpa.

He will forever be missed by wife Jackie of 67 years, daughters Denise and Debbie (Geoff Gastelum), grandson Tristan and brother Jay.

He served 5 years in the US Navy Seabee reserves living on Guam and duty throughout the South Pacific. His battalion returned to Port Hueneme in Southern CA where he and Jackie settled. He spent 35 years working at Southern California Edison electric company, enjoyed his job and all the people he worked with over the years.

He lived his summer retirement years fishing and taking care of his dream home on the river in North Idaho. Wintered in Arizona having many adventures exploring the world with his wife Jackie.

He especially loved spending valuable time with family, friends and four legged adored pets. His wit and humor will live in all of us as cherished memories.

His ashes will be kept in Idaho with Jackie until her passing.
