Ernestine Calhoun

Ernestine Ethel Calhoun was born October 11, 1911 in Gas City, Kansas to John W. Rayl and Edna Moomey Rayl. She was raised there and later married James Calhoun. They came to Arizona in 1957 from Kansas and settled in Wickenburg. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and active in the community and volunteered at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. She was preceded in death by husband James in 1974. Family services will be held in Pleasanton, Kansas with interment in Blue Mound Cemetery.
