Esther E. Hoisington, age 81, passed away surrounded by family on April 18th, 2012. She was born July 26, 1930 in Eden, Vermont to B. Ray Newcomb and Annie (Welch)Newcomb. She moved from Vermont to California and made her way to Wickenburg in 1975. Esther was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for 25 years and also a member of the 20/4 Honor Society of Women Veterans. Esther was preceded in death by parents B. Ray Newcomb and Annie (Welch) Newcomb, husband Bob Hoisington, 3 sisters: Thelma, Ada and Mildred and a brother Herman as well as 3 children: Carlene, Marlene, and Francis "Bub" Hoisington. She is survived by daughters Darlene Hoisington and Charlene Dobbert both of Morristown and son Robert "Bobby" Hoisington, sisters Olga Lawson and Mary Chambers, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and very special life long family members Joyce & Charles Potwin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 27th at 10:00 AM at the American Legion Hall in Wickenburg.
