Eugene Walter Schultz, age 81, passed away January 28, 2011 in Wickenburg, Az. Gene was born December 28, 1929 in Los Angeles, California to Richard W. Schultz and Iril Hamilton Schultz. He was raised and attended schools in Denver, Colorado. He began working as a meat cutter at an early age. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard following his service he returned to work and worked for Safeway where he worked for years and eventually opened his own butcher shops in Denver, Colorado. After moving to Wickenburg in 2003 he again worked for Safeway here in town as a meat cutter. Gene was preceded in death by his first wife Helene Schultz in 2006 and a great-granddaughter, Addyson Grace Schultz in 2010. He is survived by wife Marilyn Gray-Schultz of Wickenburg, son Robert Schultz (Valentina) of Las Vegas, Nevada and daughter Pamela Armentrout (Jim) of Hillsboro, Texas, brother Rodney Schultz of California and brother in law Don Zinzer of Lake Havasu City, Az and grandsons: David, Daniel, and Mark and granddaughter Kelly, 4 great-grandchildren.
