Our beloved Flora, at 95 years of age, passed into eternal life peacefully in her Arizona home on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, after being on dialysis for six years. Flora was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 2, 1918 to Mary Morra and Louis Ragonetti. She was the seventh of thirteen children, growing up in a happy and complicated Italian family. Flora was a simple and gracious lady, she will be remembered for her strong Catholic faith and playful sense of humor. Twelve years ago, Flora moved from Brooklyn, New York to Wickenburg, Arizona with John Randazzo, her partner of thirty-six years, who predeceased her. The Randazzo's welcomed Flora not only into their home, but into their hearts! We will always fondly remember, Flora, how you loved a good laugh right up to our parting, and that last beautiful week of your life which you and your Arizona family shared with your loving, New York niece and god-child, MaryAnn Gomes. Flora's New York family would like to express sincere thanks and gratitude: to the caring and loving Randazzo family, (especially Rowena for Flora's exceptional personal care, Biagio for driving Flora to and from dialysis, and her honorary grandchildren, Lucy and Danielle), to Dr. Sharma, to her dialysis team (especially Carolyn) and to the Wickenburg Hospice team. Thanks to each of you for the devoted care you provided to Flora during the last years, months and hours of her life. Flora, we give you our love and laughter; you will live in our hearts forever! One day we'll all have a grand reunion in the Lord's house!
