Frances "Darlene" Dotson returned to her heavenly home on March 29, 2012 from an unexpected illness surrounded by her entire loving family. Darlene was born May 11, 1939 in Prescott, Arizona to the late Sterling Davenport & Naomi Ethel Fuqua. Darlene was the youngest of 3 children, two older brothers, Sterling Dexter & Robert Davenport. She married Dave Edward Dotson and they spent most of their married life in Bagdad, Arizona and then after retirement in Wickenburg, Arizona. Darlene worked as an x-ray technician and then later in life went back to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a very talented woman. She was an artist, a seamstress, and could crochet anything. She was honest to a fault and had a great sense of humor. She loved music & dancing, she was an avid reader,& a very good cook . Above all, she was a wonderful wife and mother. Darlene is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dave Dotson, son Wade Dotson (Pat) of Morenci, AZ, Daughters Donna Mathis (Scott) of Price, UT , Karen Dotson of Sun City West, AZ, & Denise " Squeeky" Batterton (Berry) of Wickenburg, AZ. 9 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Mom we love you more than you will ever know & the hole you left will never be filled. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Wickenburg Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
