Frank Smith

Frank Reid Smith, 61, of Glendale, AZ passed away April 30th. He was born December 16th, 1949 in Boise Idaho. He married his beloved wife Kirsti Tuominen on December 27th 1974. Frank was a loving husband and father of three children, Kari, Juhani, and Marissa. He served as Consul of Finland, then as a Consul of Mauritius. Frank was a philanthropist, and would always help anyone in need. He was an accomplished musician, and was the pianist for many opera companies, countless recitals, and accompanied many student musicians and vocalists. Photography became a passion later in life, and his work has been published by various media outlets. He is preceded in death by his wife Kirsti and his parents Mark and Carol. He is survived by his brothers Stephen and Scott Smith and his sister Susan Kunz. Funeral services will be held at the Glendale North Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 4901 W. Union Hills in Glendale, AZ. May 6th, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
