George Wilkins

George E. Wilkins, Jr., age 54, passed away August 21, 2013 in Sun City, Az. George was born October 1, 1958 in Prescott, Arizona to George E. & Vivian Wilkins. He graduated from Wickenburg High School and later began working with DeVries Custom Coachworks as an autobody and paint technician. He married Kimberly Mallicoat September 9, 1978 making their home in Wickenburg. George was active in the community as a Little League and Soccer coach years ago. He had suffered a cerebral aneurysm in 2000 and had worked hard to recover. He had always been an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. One of the things he enjoyed lately was riding his quad. He could often be seen riding out to Box Canyon. One of the things that brought George great joy in life was his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Kimberly of Wickenburg, parents George Sr. & Vivian Wilkins of Wickenburg, son George of Wickenburg and son R.J (Sarah) of Minnesota and grandchildren: Raygen, Tre, Kade and Trinity. Sisters: Becky Norris, Debra Jo Wright (Paul) and Stefanie Kirkendall and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Wickenburg Funeral Home.
