Harriet Hopkins, 74, of Aguila, Arizona passed away December 27, 2012 peacefully with her family at her side. Born to Jerome & Nellie Lincoln in 1938 in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Harriet graduated from Cohasset High School in 1956. She worked at Jordan Marsh in Boston before marrying John Hopkins, her husband of 54 years. She moved to Dexter, Maine and was a homemaker on the Hopkin's family dairy farm. In 1968 she moved to Wickenburg, Arizona and worked at Remuda Ranch. She and her family later moved to Congress. She found great reward in assisting the elderly friends and neighbors by helping them with tasks that had become to difficult for them. Harriet should be remembered for her infectious laugh and great ability to stay in contact with family and friends that she loved dearly. A lover of nature and especially an avid birdwatcher, Harriet will be deeply missed by all the creatures that surrounded her. Harriet was preceded in death by her brother David Lincoln. She is survived by her husband John Hopkins, her children: Elijah Hopkins of Aguila, Arizona and Kathy Hopkins of Hampden, Maine, brothers Joe Lincoln, Roger Lincoln and Sam Lincoln. Her 5 grandchildren, Hadley Hopkins, Ashley Vigil, Cory Hopkins, Adrian Hopkins, Breanne Godinez and many great-grandchildren. A private family service was be held at Centennial Park in Wendon, Arizona, officiated by Pastor David Vigil husband of her granddaughter Ashley Vigil. Family suggests memorial contributions can be made in memory of Harriet to the Wickenburg Humane Society at P.O. box 147 Wickenburg, AZ 875358
