On July 24, 2020, James (Jim) Henry Fisher lost his battle with Dementia and was welcomed into the arms of the Lord. Missing him greatly are, his wife Patricia of 50 years, his son, Ron (Diane) Congress, AZ and his grandsons, Dustin (Karen), Marietta, GA, David (Cori), Arizona City, AZ, and Daniel, Marietta Georgia. He is also survived by two daughters from a previous marriage, Jennifer and Julie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Josephine (Golter) Fisher of Toledo, Ohio. Jim grew up in Ohio and graduated from Woodward High School in 1959. He moved to Phoenix in 1969. In 1971, he met his love, Patricia. They married and moved back to Toledo. Shortly afterward, Jim opened Fisher Music. He sold and repaired music instruments to the public and local schools. Jim had the reputation of being the best brass man in the country.
Missing Arizona and the climate, Jim and Patricia moved to Congress in 1991. Jim continued to work in the music business until his retirement in 2007. Jim was a board member of the water company in Congress. He will be and is remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Jim's celebration of life will be held on July 31 at Noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints on 13050 West Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ 85390. All those wishing to remember him are welcome to join the services.
