James Lyle

James A. "Tony" Lyle, age 57, passed away following a lengthy illness at the family home in Wittmann, Az. Tony was born November 6, 1954 in Normal, Illinois to Jame D. Lyle and Vilor Atkinson Lyle. He moved with his family to San Diego, California as a boy and was raised there. He came to Arizona in 1972 and married Martha Currey in 1977. He had worked as a Urethane Foam Applicator in the Roofing industry for years before retiring for health reasons. Tony enjoyed fishing and panning for gold and most important in his life were family and friends. He always had a little chihuahua dog and during his lifetime had several memorable pets. He enjoyed telling a good story and was known for his "Tony Jokes". He is survived by his wife Martha of Wittmann and mother Vilor Levine of Peoria, Az and step-mother Beulah "Boots" Lyle of Missouri and children: Alicia Lyle and Sarah Lancaster both of Lexingtion, Kentucky, Byan (Jessica) Lyle of Surprise, brother Cline Lyle of Missouri and sisters Laura Frew of Ohio, Bannie Hembre of Kingman, Az and Roxanne of South Dakota and grandchildren: Josiah and Barrett Lyle and Arianna Lancaster. Famliy services will be held at a later date.
