Jim Wojcik, age 70, went peacefully to be with the Lord on September 3, 2014. Jim was born October 24, 1943 in Lackawanna, New York to Frank and Florence Wojcik. He met his soon to be bride, Nancy in 1961. Then he went and served his Country and came home to marry Nancy on September 4, 1965. They had four children: Dawnn, Deborah (Rick), Jimmy and Jason. They moved to Wickenburg in June of 1975. He loved hunting and fishing and was known for his story telling and contagious laugh. He retired from the Arizona Department of Transportation when he was 60. He was and active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and was the first Grand Knight of the Wickenburg Knights of Columbus Council. Besides being survived by his wife and four children, he is also survived by his six grandchildren: Jacob (Jess) Neill, Michael Neill, Megan Wojcik, Lucas Wojcik, Blake Wojcik and Garrett Wojcik. One great-grandchild (Izabella, she's on the way). Also, a brother Bob (Pat) , sisters Florence (Tony) Franco, Kathy Kottas, brother-in-law Frank (Debbie) Geampa, sisters-in-law Felice Pearson, Barb Mancuso, Jane (David) Martin and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Florence Wojcik, brother-in-law Mike Kottas and a grandchild Jeffrey Neill. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM
