Jane A. Bour-Beau passed away peacefully Jan. 13, 2021 at the age of 83 at Sante Skilled Nursing in Surprise, AZ. She was born Aug. 6, 1937 to Leo and Angele Tardiff in Manchester, NH. She graduated from St. George High School in NH and then graduated at Keane Teachers' College in NH with a Bachelor degree in Education. She was a teacher in the NH Catholic School system and in Goffstown, NH for several years. She was well liked by all students and teachers. She moved the family to AZ for warmer weather in 1976. She taught at OLPH in Scottsdale for a few years, obtained a Master in Science, then taught Physics and Chemistry at Xavier High School in Phoenix, AZ. She loved inspiring the young ladies to science at Xavier and they loved her.\n\nPrior to her death, she was a resident of Caring Angels in Wittmann for a short time, before that she was a resident of Yarnell for 22 years. She was a Library volunteer at Yarnell Library in her retirement from teaching, a member of the American Legion Post 79 Auxilliary and a quilter in Women's Fellowship at Yarnell Community Church.\n\nShe was also a great cook, an avid reader, loved to knit, crochet, sew, quilt and do crossword & logic puzzles.\n\nShe is survived by 3 daughters: Nina Bour-Beau of Yarnell, AZ, Michelle Bour-Beau of Prescott, AZ and Lori Ruggles of Tennessee, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was much loved by all who knew her and is already missed. It was an honor to live with my best friend, teach and mother.
