Janet Ostrander

Janet Lucille Ostrander, age 86, passed away March 23, 2013 in Sun City West, Arizona. She was born August 18, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to Glen Tobey and Helen Burkhardt Tobey. Janet was raised and attended schools there. She later married Harry Ostrander in 1946. They moved to Arizona in 1958 settling in Phoenix and later moving to the West Valley area. She had worked for years as a waitress in the Sun City, Youngtown and Peoria areas. Janet liked the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry on August 18, 1981. She is survived by her children: Glen ( Olivia Carey) Ostrander of Goodyear, Az, Matt (Diane) Ostrander of Surprise, Az, John (Judith) Ostrander of Tyler, Tx., Thomas (Elena) Ostrander of Tampa, Fl., and Carol (Karl) Holloway of Prescott Valley, Az., 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 7:00 PM. at Wickenburg Funeral Home 187 N. Adams St. Wickenburg, AZ 85390
