JAN CREIGHTON December 30, 2011 Today the Lord, in all his glory, called for Jan to make her last horseback ride- up the trail to heaven. All Mighty God will greet her at the Pearly Gates along with her sisters Mary and Francis. She will rest in peace there for eternity, with horses all around to ride and many a trail to locate and travel forever. She is in her heaven and in her glory at the age of 81. The cancer finally became more than the body could endure, she left us in peace with no pain. She has been with Hospice of the Valley for these last few months here at home. They are truly Caring Angels having helped make these last few months of Jan's life as comfortable as humanly possiblealways there always caring. The Family has set up a Memorial fund in Jan's name to Benefit Hospices of The Valley. [email protected] Jan leaves a loving husband of 61 years, John as well as Sons Ken grand daughters Ellen, Emily of Reno NV- Larry and grand sons Allen, Randy, grand daughter Amber of Las Vegas NV, Daughters Kathy Creighton-Smith and grand daughters Savannah, Alana of Chinook MT - Linda Rest grand daughter Lorissa Harris of Sheppard Montana , Rusztleeta her 31 year old endurance horse and Josie her ever faithful trail dog. Funeral cremation will be a private family affair at Wickenburg Funeral Home with a Celebration Of Jan's Life to be held later in spring with a "Scatter of the ashes to the wind" on CREIGHTON HILL and a Gatherin for all at Mt Hope Church.
