Jayden Harris

Jayden Thomas Harris, age 16, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on July 11, 2024. Born on March 6, 2008, in Prescott, Arizona, to Timothy Wayne Harris. Jayden was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Dwayne (JD) and Tracey Kingston, on June 13, 2017, following his father's passing in 2013.

Jayden moved to Beckville TX to live with his sister Kacey (Jeffrey) from 2017 to 2022 where he excelled in school and was deeply involved in church activities. He was a dedicated student, never missing a day of school and frequently earning top AR reader recognition. Jayden was also a talented trumpet player in the award-winning Beckville Bearcat band.

A believer in God, Jayden attended church in Carthage and participated in vacation Bible school. He had a special love for four-legged animals and enjoyed playing video games with friends from around the world.

Jayden was excited to begin his junior year at Sunrise Mountain High School so he could hang out with his classmates and close friends.

During the summer, Jayden was working as a landscaper to save money for a car. Jayden's loved fast, sporty cars and one day hoped to have one of his own. He also wanted to earn money to buy all the little extra accessories he needed for his XBox and VR. Jayden enjoyed every minute that he was able to play video games with his world-wide gamer friends.

The day Jayden was born he became an uncle to Kara, Davin, Kiara, and Kaydence. Something he was so proud of, but actually thought was pretty weird.

Jayden is survived by his adopted parents, Tracey and JD Kingston; siblings Kacey (Jeffrey), Kailee (Colton), Nate (Cheyenne), Mark, Aaron, and Brett; aunts Barbara and Shirley (Bert); grandmothers Sally and Patty; and numerous cousins.

He was welcomed into heaven by his father Timothy Harris, grandparents Tom and Geneva Harris, Uncle Tom, brother Nick, niece Annabelle, nephew Airic, cousin Jason, and aunts Nelda and Jaunita.

A graveside service will be held on August 2, 2024, at 3 pm at Genung Memorial Cemetery, 18275 AZ-89, Peeples Valley, AZ 86332.
