Jean Weiss was born January 24, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Donald Pavlick and Amber Traxel Pavlick. She attended schools there and in 1954 moved to Hales Corners, WI. Jean later went on to University of Wisconsin in Madison where she met Roger Weiss. They were married September 5, 1964 and shortly thereafter made their home in Parma Heights, Ohio where Roger worked for GM. Their first son Shawn was born and they later moved to New Berlin where Brandon was born. In 1974 Roger was transferred to Denver, Colorado working with AT&T. They built a home in Evergreen, which Roger & Jean enjoyed doing much of the work in the building of that home. In 1987 they moved again moved to the Arizona settling in Scottsdale. Jean began working with America West Airlines as a flight attendant. In 1998 they retired and purchased a 40ft sailboat. They traveled to Mexico, the South Pacific, Australia, Indonesia, Malasia and Thailand until 2007. Jean really enjoyed sailing and traveling, she found "the Gypsy Lifestyle" was quite enjoyable. She is survived by her husband Roger, sons Shawn Weiss (Allegra) and Brandon Weiss (Ann) and brother James Pavlick (Georgia) grandchildren: Anthony, Brooke, Myissa, Calista.
