Jesus Armando Soto, age 63, passed away February 23, 2013 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Armando was born May 12, 1949 in Palmar de Sepulveda, Sinaloa, Mexico to Jesus Maria Soto and Regina Soto-Campas. He was raised there and came to Arizona 1975 settling first in Phoenix where he began working as a welder. He moved to Wickenburg in 1976 and began working at Johnson's Lumber Yard where he worked for 20 years. He worked in masonry construction and eventually established and operated Wickenburg Frontier Custom Design. He was injured in a work related accident in 2010 and had recovered fairly well. Armando was one who always had a joke and smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to dance and cook and enjoyed gardening. He was a good husband, father, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his sister Yolanda Galaz. Armando is survived by his wife Linda Soto-Vanegas, children: Aurora (Jason) Wong of Peoria, Jesus A. Soto, Jr. of Phoenix, Bogar (Maria) Soto of Phoenix, Henry (Erika) Soto of Phoenix, Regina Soto of Wickenburg, Laura Soto of Tucson, David Arnulfo Soto of Hermosillo, Mx, Daniel Soto of Wickenburg, step daughters, Karla Mendez and Katherine Barton, sisters Laura Soto of Hermosillo, Audelia Soto of Cd. Obregon, Mx., Blanca Limon of Buckeye, Az, Loren Lerma of Wickenburg Leonor Soto of Veracuz, Mx and 12 grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Wickenburg Funeral Home and Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
