John Sheets

John Carson Sheets: graduated to heaven on July 28th, 2012. Born Jan 8, 1926 in Memphis, NY only son of John and Fanny Sheets. Survived by his loving wife Charlotte and his four children, John Sheets (Jacquie) from Kissimmee FL, Irene Davis (Kent) from Eugene Or, Kathleen (Mike Obermann) from Holley NY and Christine Dabney (Charles) from Raleigh NC. Seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Graduated from Syracuse University in 1955. He worked for Crouse Hinds in Syracuse before moving to Jacksonville, Fl to work for Signal Engineering. From there he went to work for the US Post Office. Upon retirement he & his wife became semi-affluent street people - RV-ing all over the U.S. Settling at North Ranch AZ, after joining the Escapees RV club- John became a rainbow builder helping to build North Ranch. A private family service was held Wednesday August 1, 2012. John will be missed but we take comfort in our reunion in heaven.
