John Showalter

John David Showalter, age 67, passed away March 11, 2011 at his home near Wickenburg, Arizona. John was born October 31, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Elmer Showalter and Lucille Cleary Showalter. He was raised in a large family and is survived by 4 sisters and 4 brothers with a brother and sister preceding him in death. He began a career working with Chrysler Corporation where he worked for 22 years. John was very innovative and had a part patented for Chrysler Jeeps. John retired moving to Forepaugh, Arizona where he enjoyed the Arizona outdoors. He enjoyed riding his quad in the desert with friends and family. John is survived by his wife Carolyn Showalter of Forepaugh and sons Bryan Showalter, Ricky Showalter, Jeff Showalter and Dan Showalter and a step-daughter Kristine Flaton and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his special friend and pet, T-Cat. Memorial Services were held on Saturday, March 19th at 10:00 AM at the East Unity Church in Clinton Township, Michigan.
