Kay Stephens Obituary
Kay Cheryl Stephens was a woman whose kindness and compassion for others was
evident to all who knew her. As a mother her love and encouragement were
unconditional.
Kay was born in Illinois and moved to Arizona in 1974. Wickenburg became her home
in 1985, and she cherished this community. Kay was a rare soul, sweet in every way.
Her warmth came from knowing God's love through Jesus, and she shared His love
with those around her. In her husband's words "she was a truly beautiful woman." She
went to the Lord on Feb 12, 2025 and will forever be missed. She is now resting in
heaven, rejoicing eternally.
Kay is survived by her husband, Scott Stephens; brother Carl Hartter (Elayne); her
daughters, Heather Lloyd (Alex) and Jena Savage (Richard); her son, David Keller;
seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at The Place Church at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025,
followed by a graveside service and then reception at the Wickenburg Country Club,
Please join us to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, Kay would be honored by
donations to Focus on the Family (focusonthefamily.com).
