Kemper H. Brown, age 72, passed away September 29, 2011 in Salome, Arizona. Kemper was born Oct. 26, 1938 in Mesa, Arizona and raised in Phoenix. He grew up farming and enlisted in the U.S. Army at an early age. Following his military service he returned to Phoenix and attended Arizona State University later moving to Salome and began farming. He married Toni L. Packham in 1966 and they made their home in Salome. Kemper farmed KD Farms and owned K lazy B Ranch and Kemper Brown Cattle Co. He was serving as President of the McMullen Valley Water District and had been a former director of the Wickenburg Community Bank. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald & Martha Louise Brown. He is survived by his wife Toni of Salome and children: Scott Brown of Phoenix, Debbie (Eddie) Baldenegro of Chandler, Stacy Miller of Salome, Beverly Berber of Texas, Terri Brown of Phoenix and a sister Donna Lou Luna of Phoenix. 8 grandchildren Jade, Janice, Brena, Brandy, Caleb, Bianca, Gavin and Michael and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 AM at the Salome High School Gymnasium.
