Kenneth Metcalf

Kenneth Odell Metcalf, age 82, passed away July 13, 2013 at his home in Wittmann, Arizona. Ken was born March 19, 1931 in Salina, Kansas to Charles Metcalf, Sr. and Johnnie Ethel Humphrey Metcalf. He attended schools there and later served in the U.S. Navy following his military service he and wife Colleen moved to Arizona settling first in Casa Grande where he worked in farming and later began driving truck which he had done until he retired in 1993. Ken was a member of the Teamsters Union and also a member of Western Growers Association. He was preceded in death by his wife Colleen Metcalf in August of 2010 as well as a brother Charles Metcalf, Jr., and sister Wanda Metcalf. Ken is survived by his daughter Judy (John) Bacon of Sun City, Arizona and sisters Shirley Lam of Corcoran, California and Billie Dunkin of Stigler, Oklahoma, grandsons: John (Patsy) Bacon of Surprise, AZ, Norman (Julie) Bacon of Peoria, AZ and Aaron (Brooke) Bacon of Glendale, AZ. and great-grandchildren Daniel, Justin, Jordan, Aurora, Kyle, and Ava as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren: Nathaniel and Gabriel.
