Lawrence Harrell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence Wray Harrell, known to all who loved him as Larry, on June 10, 2023. Born on May 6, 1949, in Great Bend, Kansas, and later residing in Wickenburg, Arizona, Larry was a charismatic, loyal, funny, and loving man whose presence brought joy to everyone around him. As the great poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Larry's warmth and humor will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.



Larry was a dedicated family man who cherished spending time with his loved ones. He married his soul mate in life, Marva, on August 10, 1995, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter and adventure. Larry's career as a salesman allowed him to travel and meet new people, perfectly suiting his social butterfly nature. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, gambling, and exploring the world with Marva and their friends. Throughout his life, Larry held true to the belief that family and friends mattered most, and his devotion to them was evident in every gesture, every shared moment, and every memory made.



Larry is survived by his loving wife, Marva; his sons, Jason and Jeremy; his brother, Bob; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jessamy, Abby, and McKayla; and his great-grandson, Nathan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leora Harrell. As we mourn the loss of Larry's bright light in our lives, we also celebrate the many ways he enriched them with his humor, warmth, and unwavering love. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "It is not the length of life, but the depth."
