Leota Woodward

Leota Woodward was born February 9, 1922 in Mansfield, Illinois to Lee Beard and Edna Middleton Beard. She was raised in the area in Iuka, Illnois where the family farmed. She married Harry Ray Woodward on September 21, 1942. Following Harry's military service he worked for the Highway Dept. and farmed and Leota was a homemaker and mother. They came to Wickenburg, Arizona in 1998 to be near family. Harry preceded Leota in death on June 15, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a sister. Leota is survived by son Ray Woodward of Collegestation, Texas and daughter Elsie Vance of Wickenburg, Arizona as well as 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchild. Services and interment will take place in Iuka, Illinois.
