Lesley Loraine Rogers, age 54, passed away April 15, 2015 in Wickenburg, Arizona. Lesely was born September 2, 1960 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to George M Lawrence and Rosemary Pemberton Lawrence. She was raised in Clio, Michigan and attended schools there. Following her schooling she worked in customer service for years. She moved to Monticello, Utah in 1998 and met Clinton "Bud" Rogers. They were married in 1999 making their home in the Grand Junction area and traveling living in Cortez and Montrose. One of Lesley's passions was quilting, she made thousands of quilts donating them to Crossroads Youth Intervention in Phoenix, Pine River Reservation, Home of Hope and many other service organizations. Lesley established a website for quilting groups "Wings of a Dove" on Yahoo. The site was to organize people worldwide to come together to make and donate quilts and materials to those in need. Lesley was a caring-giving person with a tremendous heart. She and husband Bud manage the Palm Drive Mobile Home Park here in Wickenburg. She was preceded in death by her father George Lawrence in 1985. Lesley is survived by her husband Clinton "Bud" Rogers of Wickenburg, her mother Jane Lawrence of Lincoln, MI, children: Anthony Wayne Handy, II of Colorado, Amber Becker of Montrose, CO, Heather (Santee) Veach of Cortez, CO, grandchildren: Sawyer Quinn Handy, Veda Psalm Elliot Handy, Oliver Handy, Colton Chamberlain & Tyrel Chamberlain, Briony Veach and Easton Veach, brothers: Timothy Peterson of Denver, CO, Joe (Nadine) Lawrence of Wolverine, MI, John (Sherry) Lawrence of Afton, MI, Carl (Bridgette) Lawrence of Rogers City, MI, Dan (Julie) Lawrence of Clio, MI, sisters Dawn (Chris) Marx of Roger City, MI, and Delia Schisler of Wolverine, MI. Memorial services Will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 2:00 PM at Wickenburg Funeral Home.
