Mary Clark

Mary Edith Clark, age 81, passed away April 24, 2014 in Wickenburg, Arizona. Mary was born June 25, 1933 in Fergus, Ontario, Canada to Roy & Edith Dunn. Once Mary received her nursing degree in Canada, she moved to California. While working at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City she met Norman Clark. Mary & Norman were married for 52 years. They made their home in Martinez, California. She worked as a registered nurse in various hospital settings. She was Head Administrator at a rest home, Mt. Pisgah in Walnut Creek, Ca for many years. Mary was a supporting member and volunteer at the Concord Pavilion where she enjoyed many entertainers. Mary and Norman retired in Arizona in 1999 settling in Wickenburg. Mary began working at the Wickenburg High School in the cafeteria making pizza for the kids shortly after coming to Wickenburg. She was very active in the community volunteering at the Humane Society and Toys for Tots. She was a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed traveling and loved her dogs and going to the Wickenburg Dog Park. She was preceded in death by her sister Olivia Dunn and brother Norman Dunn. Mary is survived by her husband Norman of Wickenburg and son & daughter-in-law Kevin & Monica Clark of Concord, CA and daughter & son-in-law Mary "Joanne" & Mike Parker of Mesa, AZ, brother Ross Dunn of Kitchener, Canada and sister Marge Warden of Fergus, Canada, grandchildren Mary "April" & Leanne Attwood and Tiffany & Lindsay Clark.
