Michael Buettner

Michael "Mike" Paul Buettner, age 57, of Morristown Arizona passed away on December 22, 2024.

Mike was born on April 23, 1967 in Grand Island, NE to Eugene "Pete" Buettner and Ruth (Schweitzer) Buettner. Mike graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1985. Mike served in the U.S. Air Force from 1985-1992 demonstrating dedication and service to his country. He later pursued a career in real estate as a Broker and publisher of Tucson Edition of Broker Agent Magazine. Since 2005, Mike was the owner of RespirCare Analytical and was the Founder of the RespirCare Associate Network. He trained over 1200 North American and Canada Home and Property Inspectors to conduct Bio Contaminant Inspections. Mike was an expert witness providing litigation support to United States based law firms. Mike was also ACAC Board Certified as an Indoor Air Quality Manager and Indoor Environmentalist. He was a past member of the Real Estate Educators Association and the National Association of REALTORS having previously served on the professional standards committee and the political action committee.

Mike found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished outdoor adventures with his son Logan and traveling with his wife Eden for work and leisure. A collector of old coins, Mike also embraced the practice of yoga, finding peace and balance in its teachings.

Mike's life was shaped by his experiences, relationships and business ventures. Though his journey was uniquely his own, he leaves behind family and friends that reflect the many chapters of his life.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Eden of Morristown AZ; his son Logan (Cami), of Prescott AZ from marriage to Michelle (Shelly) Buettner; one granddaughter, Adrianna of Prescott AZ; three brothers Pat (Anne) Buettner, of Grand Island NE; Tom (Dianna) Buettner, of Fox River Grove IL; Marc (Colleen) Buettner of Dannebrog NE; and two sisters Sara (Roger) Hornecker of Andover KS; Teresa (Jerry) Sinner of Grand Island, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene "Pete" and Ruth Buettner; one sister, Rita Larson and an infant brother, James Harold.
