Mort was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois to Mort G. Wolf, Sr. and May Green Wolf. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 and later served 6 years in the Army Reserve. Following his active military service he moved to Phoenix where he sold water for Sparkling Bottled Water Co. He was one of the first employees of the company and worked there for over 20 years. He also worked for Smitty's Supermarkets, where he drove a semi-truck delivering groceries and goods to all of their stores. Mort moved to Peeples Valley with his wife Marge, in the mid 1990's. He was a member of the Yarnell Community Presbyterian Church and the Lighthouse church - Men's Fellowship Group. He is survived by his wife Joyce of Peeples Valley, five children: sons, Michael Wolf (Gail) of Chandler, Steve Wolf (Nancy) of Benbrook, TX, daughters, Barbara Boosman (Rob) of Phoenix, Susan Kinzer (Fred) of Oro Valley, AZ, Sharon Maines of Huntington Beach, CA, and their mother, Clara Wolf, brother Ardelle Frenk (Rosemary) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, step-children: Gale Henry (Robert) of Peeples Valley, Quinn Ream of Flint, MI, Randy Ream of Mesa, Bill Hare (Carol) of Hesperia, CA, Jeff Hare (Bobbie) of Gillette, NJ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marge (Hare) Wolf. Grandchildren: Garrett, Tyler, Joseph, Melanie, Jon & James Wolf, Barry & Ryan Boosman, Courtney & Madison Kinzer, Sarah & Colton Maines & Sammy Hare. He was preceded in death by a grandson Thomas Hare.
