Nancy Getman

Nancy P. Getman, age 83, passed away May 5, 2014 at her home in Wilhoit, Arizona. Nancy was born April 20, 1931 in Columbus, Kansas to Philip and Gertrude Hansen. She was raised in Southeastern Arizona and graduated from Safford High School later attending Westmont College now in Santa Barbara, CA. She earned a degree in Education but chose to work in accounting. She married Frank Getman in 1952 and shortly thereafter moved to Sitka, Alaska where she and Frank owned and operated a Marine Equipment Sales and Service business. They moved to San Diego, Ca in 1970 and retired moving to Wilhoit in 1992. She is survived by her husband Frank of Wilhoit, sons Phil (Diane) Getman of Sacramento, Ca and Pete Getman of Wilhoit and grandchildren: Anna (Scott) Harris, John (Rachall) & Jason (Lauren) Getman and great-grandchildren: Claire, Grant, Logan & Jude Harris and Gwendolyn, Alex & Joshua David Getman. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
