Randy James Brandenburg, age 59, of Wickenburg, Arizona and formerly of Lachine, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ after a long struggle with lung cancer. He was born June 6, 1953 in Alpena, Michigan. Randy is the son of the late Forest M. and Olive M. Brandenburg of Lachine, Michigan. Randy honorably served his Country in the U.S. Navy, as a boiler maker. Following his military service he moved back to the family farm to help his parents with strawberry farming. Randy married Sharon Kay Rodmonich July 28, 1973 in Escanaba, Michigan. They moved to Wickenburg in 1984. Randy worked at maintenance jobs until his employment at Rancho de los Caballeros, in grounds maintenance and later working as supervisor. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Kay Brandenburg and two daughters Tracey Ann Brandenburg and fiance Brent Brinkley of Wickenburg and Brooke Lynn Brandenburg of Buckeye, AZ, Grandchildren: Sierra, Sonoma, Jimmy, Savanah, Estine Waters of Wickenburg and Cheyene and Shauntell "Gracie" Evans of Buckeye and Emily and Taner Brinkley of Wickenburg. Also three brothers: Darrell (Mary), Stanley ( Mary) Paul (Jean) Brandenburg all of Michigan and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Forest & Olive Brandenburg, sister Gayle Liske who passed away on Dec. 25, 2012. His passion was restoring old trucks. He has finished a 1947 Ford, 1951 Dodge, and a 1960 Ford. Randy was considered a "Jack of All Trades and Master of Many" He also had a great love for hunting and fishing while in Michigan. Randy will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends. Funeral services will be held at Rancho de los Caballeros in the Sonoran Room with visitation from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2013 with services at 7:00 PM.
