Raymundo Ramos Estrada, age 76, passed away October 24, 2011 at his home in Congress, Arizona after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 15, 1925 in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan Estrada and Manuela Ramos Estrada. His father died at an early age and Raymundo began working as a young man. He came to Arizona in 1972 and began working in Bagdad as a copper miner which he did until he retired. He was a very creative man and mostly self-taught with the ability to fix just about anything. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Maria Estrada of Congress and Children: Rodolfo, Moises, Raymundo Jr., Elva and Eva. 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren as well as brothers Jose, Juan and Blas and half brother Marcelino and sister Artemisa Vegas. Visitation and Rosary will be on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM with the Funeral Mass to be said on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg with interment to follow in Peeples Valley Pioneer Cemetery in Peeples Valley.
