Richard L."Coyote" Evans, age 65. passed away July 14, 2012 in a weather related accident in Wickenburg. Richard was born March 5, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona to Richard Evans, Sr. and Mildred Carmichael Evans. He was raised in Phoenix and graduated from Paradise Valley High School. He later served in the U.S. Navy in VietNam from 1965 to 1969. Following his military service he began working as an electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Richard was a member and former commander of the American Legion Kellis-Draper post 12, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the National Rifle Association as well as a Loyal Knight with the BPOE #2160. Richard was a loving and caring husband and always had a story to tell. He enjoyed fishing and his chocolate lab "Fraulein" He was also a member of the Wickenburg Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Janine Evans of Wickenburg and son Richard "Richie" Evans of Washington and daughter Michelle Evans of Oregon, step-daughter Sandi (Rod) Crandell of Chandler, brother in law Larry (Audrey) Harker of Prescott and sister in law Gretchen Manson of Phoenix and grandchildren: Connor, Cathryn, Cedric Crandell. Memorial Services with military honors will be held on Thursday, July 26th at 10:00 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
