Ricky Jones

Ricky Jones, age 58, passed away October 23, 2012 in Peoria, Arizona. Ricky was born December 24, 1953 in Nortonville, Kentucky. He was raised in Missouri and graduated from high school in Hillsboro, Missouri. He later began working in Maintenance and Janitorial work. Ricky moved to Arizona in 1979 to be near family. He was injured in an auto accident which forced his retirement for health reasons. Ricky loved horses and enjoyed caring for them and was also a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Jones in 2002, grandmother Thelma Williams and brother Leon Leonard. Ricky is survived by his mother Ida Jones of Glendale, Az and sisters Martha Jean (Geral)Boyles of Florida, Francis Klinkert of Sun City, AZ brother Timothy Jones step-sisters Toni Drury and Tina Drury both of Glendale, Az., Aunt Dorothy Anderson of Glendale and Aunt Sylvia (Carmen)Bradshaw of Missouri. Nieces & Nephews: Taylor Drury, Marcia Merrill, Kristen(Phillip) Munchinsky, Cynthia (David) Morand, Jerry Mathenia, Contina (Eugene) Gibson, Jeanette Johnson . Grand-Nieces and Nephews: Kaylee Morand, Gabriel, Abby & Alexis Munchinsky, Tiffani, Conner & Duncan Clausing, Erika Mathenia, Jessica Mathenia, Savanah Ishum, Victoria Gann, Justice & Miranda Nichols, Great-grand nieces and nephews: Ashley Miller, Mitchell & Annabeth Boyles. Cousins: Debra Habbershaw & Patricia Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Wickenburg Funeral Home with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Congress Cemetery in Congress, AZ.
