Roberta Torgerson

Torgerson, Roberta "Bobbe" Josten of Wickenburg, AZ and Stevensville, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 17, 2011, in Wickenburg, AZ. Born August 10, 1925, in Owatonna, MN, she married Allan Curtis Torgerson in July 1946. She is survived by him and five children: Christopher Torgerson (Margo), Sally Lawson (Donald), Julie Coyer (Spencer), Thomas Torgerson, and Ande McCally (Tom) and five grandchildren: Tim, Parker, Andy, Georgia, and Garrett. She was preceded in death by her parents Adelbert McChesney"Bob" and Gertrude Josten and herbrother Thomas Hadley Josten. A graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO, Bobbe will be remembered for her great love of reading, her lifetime devotion to her dogs, her generosity of spirit and commitment to her friends. She had a passion for travel, emerging technologies, and sudoku. She was proud to have earned her pilot's certificate in 1944.
